That is probably the only fighter Arum has that he would put in against Williams. The way Arum disgraces Clottey is disgusting. The Bobfather needs to shake the dust off his face and retire from the game.

Clottey also needs to expose himself more as well. People are not going to just give you good fights sometimes. He should get out there and go to the fights like he apparently has not been doing.

Go to Cotto's fight, call him out. Go to where Berto trains, call him out. He should try and fight Cintron, I'm sure he could get under his skin, plus I know Cintron would love a belt.

In short, if you want it Clottey, you got to go and get it.

i like clottey alot but i have to agree with you the biggest wins clottey has right now are corrales and judah, if clottey can't get a fight with williams cotto,berto or shane he should go fight another top ww like quintanna,collazo or cintron and after he beats them it will make it harder for fighters to avoid him

Clottey lost to Margo and made Zab look good fighting him, got robbed vs Baldi a few years ago, took apart a past his prime and fat Chico.... am I missing something? maybe he can call himself the 2nd most avoided fighter in the sport, number one was Williams right before the first Q fight.

ive been saying all alone that Arum is stealing money in a clean professional way from all his fighters including Cotto. thats why De la hoya left and floyd jr. bought his way out. he really got margarito good from 2005 up to now and is ruinning margies career if he puts him in the ring in mexico.

So would I, but the networks aren't interested, which seems to be the reason it didn't happen last year when both fighters wanted to fight each other.

I agree with the posters who said that Clottey needs to put himself about much more, and that calling out leading contenders who don't hold belts, like Cintron, Collazo and Quintana, would make sense.
