Mate its his trainer what do expect him to say if he feels something was wrong with his charge this aint kids playing in the schoolyard , you should put your hand at training an animal to be 110% at a given hour , you will change you mind totally to what can go wrong with an athlete and how fine a line getting everything right really is the bigger the prize the finer the line , people like Jack Lowe are more inclined to kill somebody in the gym especially their first star pupil in his first superfight than an experienced fast track trainer , I dont care what the main players say they have a right to say what ever they like they are doing it while we are nothing but lookers and talk is very cheap .

Jack Lowe is a bad trainer due to the fact that he never really improved Kelly Pavlik's gameplan. It was just 1-2 1-2 1-2 and overwhelm him with combinations here and there. It took them 11 rounds to figure out Jermain Taylor's body was wide open for the taking.

However, I do think he trained Kelly to his fullest to what he know. Kelly Pavlik was just not good enough to beat Bernard Hopkins.

I used to like Lowe but don't so much anymore after the Bernard fight. It was ****** of him to only offer Kelly the 1-2 game plan with a guy like Hopkins. Both Kelly and Jack underestimated Hopkins.

I find Pavlik and Loew have been full of excuses. "I wasnt me that night," "I couldnt get my punches off."

I like Pavlik, hes young and should improve but he got outclassed that night by a better, smarter fighter in Bhop.

Nothing to be ashamed of considering he moved up 10lbs to fight a legend. He just happened to get Tito'd and Tarvered.

Doesn't suck, is just green and unlucky because Bernard Hopkins was supposed to be shot, he wasn't. Not prime but not shot yet. Pavlik will comeback. If he doesn't try to move up he holds a real advantage in power over pretty much everyone else. Stay at your division until you develop the rest of you K Pav?

Taylor outbox Pav licks in that second fight....I had Taylor winning comfortably. Jermaine laid the actual groundwork for exposing Pav licks.

Lockett couldn't do it because he sucks but Bhop followed those instruction to the letter.

This is why Leow is a bad trainer. Not so much as he's making excuses for his fighter, that's ok I guess, the problem here is he probably believes this ****, meaning he wont do a damn thing to change anything, just write off the loss as a "fluke" and blame it on outside factors while ignorant the pink elephant in the room - Pavlik needs a lot of improvement.
