Cotto time with Top Rank is coming to an end. He knows that Marg cheated on his fight and Arum supporting it is just de****able. Cotto should stay a while longer and see if he can get a fight with Pac. Taking out Pac and then leaving Top Rank would be the best way to stick to Arum.

I bet DLH and Richard Schaeffer are licking their chops at this news. I have no doubt Cotto signs with GBP. I can't blame the guy at all. If I was a hard worker with integrity like Cotto, who risked my health everytime I got in the ring to find out that my promoter continues to support a known cheater, of course I would be thinking to myself if this guy has me and my health in his best interest. Bob Arum is shooting himself in the foot big time with this and the thing that really sucks is if Cotto does turn to GBP and ends up signing with them, my guess is Arum will hold a grudge and we as fans will miss out on great matchups due to another grudge between promoters and their former fighters.

I actually touched on this topic the other day. Both Oscar and Floyd didnt become highly successfull till AFTER they left Arum. Now its Cotto's turn. I personally feel that Arum is hurting Cotto's career with these b.s matchups like Cotto/Gomez and Cotto/Jennings. As big a fan i am of Cotto, i will not contribute a dime to this saturday's ppv event.

Cotto doesn't have the star power yet to generate his own buzz like maybe Golden Boy would.

It's like rappers with record labels, they have their logos on the CD inserts, but right next to it you'll also see the real big dogs "Interscope or Universal".

Golden Boy could potentially take Cotto to the next level.
