I don't think Cotto can pull his own weight as a promoter just yet. It took Oscar years before GBP got off the ground and was recognized as one of the top Promotions in Boxing. In a few years that may be different, but I doubt Cotto's company will reach the heights of GBP. Oscar is a smart businessman, not sure who Cotto has running his company.

I actually touched on this topic the other day. Both Oscar and Floyd didnt become highly successfull till AFTER they left Arum. Now its Cotto's turn. I personally feel that Arum is hurting Cotto's career with these b.s matchups like Cotto/Gomez and Cotto/Jennings. As big a fan i am of Cotto, i will not contribute a dime to this saturday's ppv event.

You are right about the bold. What I want to see is when Cotto leaves Arum what type of **** Arum is going to talk about Cotto like he did with PBF and De la Hoya. I also want to see if everybody is going to take Arum's word on his new feelings for Cotto like a lot did with PBF and De la Hoya.
