Same here. Taylor outboxed Pavlik, but they scored the fight mainly for Pavlik's aggression. Plus "the guys in suits" wanted to continue building the Pavlik hype. It was better for business.

it wasn't at 175.....it was at a catchweight, no?

I think he suffered a crisis of confidence and got outworked.

I think JT even is a level above Pavlik, but he is lacking a bit for me, mentally. No way should he have lost to Pavlik twice.

Bernard was just on that night. I'm a Pavlik fan, but I gotta give it up to the executioner. Good defense will do it every time. Just look at Floyd.

it'd probably look like mayweather-baldomir....with a lot of holding!

Haha, yeah, I thought I was pretty much alone on this. Good to see someone else agrees.

Kelly is str8 up and down no special effects. Comes straight forward. Power is the only weapon in his arsenal. Bernard's footwork, handspeed, defense, and skills are superior even at this age. Regardless of the weight Bernard wudda beat Pavlik IMO.
