Maybe they can bring in Allan Green. He was going to fight Taylor on March 28 and it's a title shot. Surely Greeen wouldn't decline? He's a lot better then Larsen.

That would cause quite a conundrum for those who claimed Jermain Taylor was ducking serious challenges by facing Allan Green.

Take a look at the coalition of Calslappy"peeleft: fans falling over each other to pump up Michelle Kessler. The guy isn't any good and your endless hours of drivel on the internet can't change that. Sorry.

Kessler is honestly a huge dissapointment. The man should be trying his best to fight the Taylors, Frotches, and Glen Johnsons of the world. Fighting tune up after tune up is no good this point in Kesslers career.

Before Calzaghe Joe fought a string of champions. Both former, future and present. After calzaghe he had his hand surgically repaired then fought for the WBA title against the undefeated Dmitri Sartison and followed that fight with a dictated and lame mandatory in Haussler. Not to bad by any standard.

The Larsen fight is underrated because most poster never heard of him. Still it's a pocket full of bucks for Kessler. Kessler's largest purse available by a mile.

Be that as it may, he should be sitting ringside at Frotch Taylor, and he MUST challenge the winner if he is serious about his career.

So Kessler's contract expires in one year. He apparently gets 3 fights according to Palle, but at their pace is this realistic?

I suppose if Larsen fight falls through, they can throw him some mandatories in Germany or wherever and let the clock tick out.

I don't know if it's the date or number of fights that is most important in this for the terms of the contract to be satisfied.

I would think one would supercede the other.

Maybe Palle is just trying to hit the home run with Larsen, and if he doesn't, I don't have a ton of faith he will get a good contender either.

                  Let's hope so.

Are you saying he hasn't a least tried to get the big fights? Last year he visited the US and made offers to no less than six top fighters. None of them would take him up on the offers, unfortunately.

People complain that he isn't fighting anyone, but they appear not to understand that there are politics involved here. It's not so simple as "he isn't fighting the big fights, therefore he's a nobody", like some people suggest. By the sound of it, MK is being severely limited by Palle, I guess because Palle he wants to protect his cash cow and will not put him in risky fights. Kessler doesn't want this, hence the reason he's trying to escape from the contract -- so he can fight the best and prove to everyone that he's a very good fighter who deserves to be taken seriously.

If you can understand this, then there's no reason to knock Kessler.

He was ringside at 2 or 3 top fights in America in 2008, but still failed to land a fight.
