    No, he didn't. Kessler has beaten better fighters than Miranda with similar danger rate (Andrade?). They just got outplayed by Sauerland. Kessler's team attempted a hard line in negotiations and when they came back to accept, AA's people had cut in line and got the fight. They negotiated for Joe the same way, walking away only to come back. Most fights are negotiated that way. They overplayed their hand. It happens.

                        You can slam him (or rather his management) for failure to land the big fights and possibly also for effort but not for willingness.
