No you don't Soupy....you act like you are a hot commodity, you are fighting Funeka because he's your mando

The bottom line is that after what happened, he’s not even ranked anymore within the WBO. He’s sitting at the bottom of their rankings so why would I fight a guy that isn’t even at the top of any of sanctioning organizations that I have a belt in.

Shut the phuck up Soupy, Funeka should sue you, see how you like it but he won't because he a gentlemen and isn't some vengeful 37 year old man....

well, I guess it does seem that nate at the age of 37, nate can't make 135 anymore... that's plausible... But without the belts none of the name fighters have any reason to fight him.

once nate moves up to 140 he might get fights with bradley, holt, and urango though because nate is a bigger name than them, but nate can basically kiss all the big paydays goodbye.

Soupy is finished, he has no belts, after this fight...no promoter and *you* have no pull or stoke in this game...You are not Al Haymon, Shelly Finkel or the other elite manager...you are Terry Startrek or whatever the hell your name is.

I know Funeka would beat up Soupy in 4 rounds anyway...did you see the oods? that says that the oddsmakers have no respect for your boys because they know he's trash. Yeah he's the favorite but look how close the odds are, and Funeka has fought "nobody".

Soupy was absolute unprofessional at the final presser while Funeka was all gentlemen.....Soupy is a 37 year old grandfather, time to grow up....Soupy has done the one thing that I didn't think possible?

HE HAS TAKEN THE SPOTLIGHT OF ANTONIO MARGARITO WITH HIS INCOMPOTENCE

So now for the next two weeks, all we are going to get from you and Soupy are press releases and blogs....c'mon, give us more excuse why you guys can do this and why Guzman can not?

And the boys at 140 DON'T PLAY!!!!.

Ortiz, Peterson, Holt, Bradley, Alvarado, Alexander......they will all murder that old man....you see "they are all under 30".

Tomorrow will be the last time that we see Soupy on cable TV, he just lost his leverage...finito!!!!

Thank you my Lord Jesus Christ, I will never have to see Soupy on my TV every again.....Hopefully the other fighter being manage under one punch (*snicker, snicker, lol) will get you the investment back you put into Soupy

Say what you really feel and don't hold back...

Of course Soupy didn't warn Funeka, because he would be called a hypocrite....ESPN won't even take Soupy.....he's pretty much done on national tv.

he is now the emmanuel augustus of the 135 division

The offer was bogus. I personally told them that all they had to do was settle up for the Sept 13 fight, and then we could do another fight and they could keep their purse. Besides, no network was interested anyways. Nunez SAYS they were, but yet here we are almost 6 months later, and Guzman has no Showtime or HBO date lined up, and almost all of the summer dates are already spoken for. They were full of ****. The whole thing was bull**** just to try and put Guzman back into a title fight with Nate without Guzman having to climb back up the ratings again. What they DIDNT want to do is exactly what they have to do now. Which is to fight Paulus Moses for 50 cents off tv for the WBA "regular" title.

When you miss weight, you should have to fight your way back up in the ratings again. Just like Nate is going to have to do now at 140.

It is a bit bogus that they can strip his belts for being two pounds over the limit. Nate fought hard those straps and now they are gone over two damn pounds.

As much as I wish I could agree with you, I cannot. For the 135lb title, you have to make 135 pounds. Nate didnt. The sanctioning bodies were correct in stripping him.
