I think Guzman deserves an apology both from Nate and you sir after all the **** you talked bout him on this forum.
Nate does not owe Guzman an apology!! For what??? Even when Guzman came in over weight Nate still wanted to fight him. Nate even told Guzman that he didn't have to pay him any extra. Nate could of easily demanded 50K more, but didn't. Nate just wanted to fight, and Guzman backed out. Nate doesn't owe him a thing. You can't compare it at all. As Terry said Nate would never come into a fight overweight on purpose.
Nate has never had a problem making weight before.
I saw what he ate, and I saw how he trained. He never deviated from his training for a moment.
If Guzman wants an apology tell him to pay Nate the 300K he owes him first.
Just in case you didn't know. Nate never got paid a penny for that fight. Which he should of because he totally upheld his part of the contract.
Listen.. I'm not about to make any excuses. Just because I'm part of Nate's team doesn't mean I'm going to be blind to anything. I know that Nate always gives 100% in everything he does. If he just couldn't get the weight off then that's how it is. I can't speak for anyone else, but I know Nate, and there's no way he would ever be disrespectful, and not care about making weight.
If he was always coming in heavy then that would be different, but that's not the case.

I was kidding with you and had already edited my response before you posted yours, was only kidding.
Well, I wont pretend that Im not dissapointed. I understand that making weight is much harder than it sounds, and I understand that Nate had no control over the issue. but all the same, Nate's career is going to be set back a lot by this event.
Im very glad that Campbell is going straight to 140, because honestly I think he would do better there anyway and boxing fans(or Nate himself) wont have to worry about this kind of situation happening again.
Im very happy that the fight is still going on though, thats the most important thing to me.
and I also give a thumbs up to Funeka, because he could have withdrawn and made a real mess of the fight tomorrow.
