    Instant karma.

    Fight Guzman at 140.

And yeah, I understand your beef was that guzman pulled out last minute, well he tried to lose the extra weight just like campbell and got sick. Hopefully campbell doesn't have the same health problems as guzman did and the fight goes on tomorrow, but now you guys should be sympathetic. On the other hand, maybe campbell will be so drained and fatigued tomorrow that's it better to pull out, rather then get KTFO (which I'm predicting).

Nate did not "screw up". His weight was on target the entire camp. He came into fight week at 139, which is right where he is supposed to be (actually, he usually begins fight week at 140-141). However, on Wednesday and Thursday, when he typically drops the last 2-3 pounds, it simply wouldnt come off. It certainly wasnt for a lack of effort on Nate's part. He spent almost 4 hours yesterday in the steam room at Bally's, only to lose 1/4 pound. And all day today was spent trying to take off those last 3. At 36 though, his body simply said "thats it".

Nate will never attempt to make 135 again, even though there is still the possibility of getting the Barerra-Khan winner, or Marquez or something. His body just wont do it. After this fight, he is moving to 140, and there will be no future attempts to make 135, because going into a situation like that knowing full well that weight could be a problem would be disrespectful to the fans, the opponent, the promoter, and the network. This isnt like the Guzman situation. Guzman can make 135, and he just did recently. And Nate's biggest gripe with Guzman wasnt that he didnt make weight, it was that he wouldnt still fight over the weight.

Nate feels terrible that this occurred. We knew that going to 140 was inevitable, but he really thought he had 3 or 4 more fights before that move would be necessary. Thats not how it played out though. Mother Nature has her own schedule, and she doesnt really care what your own plans are.

But the fight is still on, and then Nate will be campaigning at 140. I know the haters will get a big laugh out of all this, but once Nate starts collecting belts at 140 we will see who's laughing then.

Soupy is a disgrace, I would have excepted your letter if you would have apologize to Guzman but NO....you still bash him. At least when Chico didn't make the weight, he apologized to Castillo and said "now I understand what Jose went through" but you and Soupy....disrespectful.

Soupy is finished, he has no belts, after this fight...no promoter and *you* have no pull or stoke in this game...You are not Al Haymon, Shelly Finkel or the other elite manager...you are Terry Startrek or whatever the hell your name is.

I know Funeka would beat up Soupy in 4 rounds anyway...did you see the oods? that says that the oddsmakers have no respect for your boys because they know he's trash. Yeah he's the favorite but look how close the odds are, and Funeka has fought "nobody".

Soupy was absolute unprofessional at the final presser while Funeka was all gentlemen.....Soupy is a 37 year old grandfather, time to grow up....Soupy has done the one thing that I didn't think possible?

HE HAS TAKEN THE SPOTLIGHT OF ANTONIO MARGARITO WITH HIS INCOMPOTENCE

So now for the next two weeks, all we are going to get from you and Soupy are press releases and blogs....c'mon, give us more excuse why you guys can do this and why Guzman can not?

And the boys at 140 DON'T PLAY!!!!.

Ortiz, Peterson, Holt, Bradley, Alvarado, Alexander......they will all murder that old man....you see "they are all under 30".

Tomorrow will be the last time that we see Soupy on cable TV, he just lost his leverage...finito!!!!

Thank you my Lord Jesus Christ, I will never have to see Soupy on my TV every again.....Hopefully the other fighter being manage under one punch (*snicker, snicker, lol) will get you the investment back you put into Soupy

I think the Diaz win got to his head IMO

before seeing Campbell fighting on Friday Night Fights I enjoyed watching him fight very much as he not only won but made the bouts he was in very entertaining to watch

your heart almost had to go out to the 35-36 ish late bloomer turned Boxer who was kicking ass and taking names on basic cable

plus I believe Nate fought back to back Title Eliminators at one point on Friday Night Fights before getting the shot at Juan Diaz

then after beating Diaz for the belts (and even at times during the Campbell-Diaz fight)

it's really looked like Nate's taken a turn for the jackass.

hey maybe im only looking at bits and pieces and not the whole picture.

but the Nate Campbell I've seen on Friday Night fights when he was fighting to get to the Lightweight Title

vs the current/former Lightweight Champ Nate Campbell

appear to be 2 different people.

Soupy?? What the hell is your problem? I would love to know what Nate ever did to you, that you feel you can bash him the way you have. Why do you hate him so much? Are you a Diaz nuthugger? Kid Diamond?
Did he turn you down when you hit on him?
Seriously.. Normally I would never say anything like that, but I just can't take how you're talking anymore.
Not just because it's Nate, but if it was anyone.
You hate on everyone. You bash them as if they've hurt you personally.
I have yet to see you write one post where you've said something intelligent, and or positive.
You are more than entitled to your opinion, but are you able to express an opinion without personal insults? Can you give an opinion based solely on their boxing skills?
How did you get into boxing? What do you know about boxing besides what you read from other people?
I've seen you spit out things that you're quoting from other people. You never seem to give reasons why you think one person would beat another just based on what their strengths or weaknesses are.
How do you expect people to take you seriously?
If you were to give solid reasons for not liking Nate based on his boxing then I would respect you for it even if I didn't agree with you.
How can I though when all you're doing is calling him names? You don't know the first thing about him.
You don't seem to know much about boxing at all.
At least I've worked with boxers for several years. So I have a lot insight that most people don't.
I have yet to see you write anything that seems to have any maturity, or insight.

Too much hate. Anyway, I believe One Punch's story on Nate tryin to make the weight. Atleast he tried PLUS we're still gonna see the fight. Sadly, Nate doesn't have the belts anymore

Like I said before, I want Nate to win but I just don't see. Best of luck to Nate
