I love how froch seem to be finally getting through to some boxing fans with his mouth, And am picking him to beat Taylor whenever they meet.

Froch was more like. "I know, I know, It'll be there." Very calm, and almost as though he already knew the answer. Neither sounded as though they really believe the correct moneyw ill be there.

I wish Kessler would start fighting big names.

Me too. But you gotta understand why he isn't. First off: Palle. He is trying to get out of his contract. Palle is over-protective, much like Warren is towards his fighters.

Second, Kessler visited the US last year and made offers to 6 high-profile fighters. Unfortunately, none of them took up his offer to fight.

Kessler should hopefully be fighting better names after he can escape the clutches of his **** management who doesn't want to put Kessler the cash cow at risk.

I have no idea which fights you were watching.

Even Froch fans thought he only won by a round or two. Go check out the forum on his website if you don't believe me. It was far from a dominant performance. Froch showed an impressive (but not great by any means) jab late in the fight, but even most of those didn't catch Pascal whose reflexes and head movement kept him off the mat. Pascal was gassed from about the sixth round on, and might've shown a little more activity once or twice before the final bell but he was hardly presenting Froch with ANYTHING from rounds 7-12.

When Pascal did go on the offensive, he was the faster, more accurate puncher, for sure, but he didn't give Froch a taste of anything like what he'll see in the Taylor fight - constant jabbing, good defense, good counterpunching, good combinations... Froch is going to have to step it up another level if he wants to beat Taylor but I'm willing to bet he's already at his ceiling.

As for Taylor/Lacy... the only thing missing from that fight was a knockout. Jermain had his way with Jeff, beating him from bell to bell, jabbing him at will, buckling his knees several times. At one point he hit him with a series of five straight jabs and a left hook in rapid succession, with no answer from Lacy. And if you look at the punchstats, Lacy only landed 75 shots in 12 rounds (6 per round), which is an utterly abysmal figure, not to even mention his laughable 17% connect rate. You saying Taylor was hit too much really has me questioning which fight you were watching.

Should there have been a knockout? Ideally, yes. But even without it was an overwhelming dominant performance by JT.

I'll agree to dissagree. We will see what happens in the fight and may the best man win. I'll put a lil' on Froch if you are interested. I want 2/1 odds too since this is such a walk in the part for Taylor. Should be a good fight while it lasts. I'll take Froch by decision.

Froch does speak the truth about Calzaghe tho. How for a decade he hid behing his country walls. He is willing to come to America in his first title defense against Taylor. Thats pretty impressive because Taylor is still in his prime. And nobody should say Kessler is world class, because who has he beat that is world class, and how many world class fighters has he fought? And Lacy, the next Tyson??? he had only 18 fights when he fought Calzaghe. He was all hype.

No he didn't. How many times you gonna write this? You say the same **** as Dynamite Kid who also says he had 18 wins.

And yes, Lacy was dubbed "the next Tyson" by most of the boxing community. Don't be lying and claim you knew he was less than anything special cause that'd be complete horse ****. Nobody -- and I don't care who you are -- expected a performance like that from Calzaghe. 90% of the boxing world thought Lacy was gonna smash JC to bits and almost everyone was on Lacy's nuts HARD.

I am all for guys trying to hype fights and having a bit of personality but Froch is taking the ****ing biscuit!!!! totally pointless jab at calzaghe AGAIN focus on ur own career i hate to say this but i think i want froch to get KTFO...... thats right.....i want a brit to get knocked out.........

It's all Froch can do: ride Calzaghe's coat tails and gain exposure in the press by talking **** for years, then pick up the belts he ditched by barely beating an average fighter in Pascal. Suddenly that makes him "the man".
