Froch vs Taylor... who would win?

A bit of an unorthodox analysis, but still better than most on this thread.

It was, very good objective analysis from a poster who comes from Little Rock.

Lacy is completely shot, Calzaghe ended his career. Taylor's win is as meaningless as Froch's over B-class Pascal. A pre Calzaghe Lacy would have told us the real answers about Taylor.
Taylor will win though as this is a huge step up in class for Froch and the 22 bums he's so far fought.

I realize that Lacy is not the threat he once was, and even then I only rate him slightly below Froch.

My prediction for Taylor/Froch is about the same as it was for Taylor/Lacy... as long as Taylor doesn't get caught by anything big, he's golden. Froch doesn't have a chance at winning a decision unless he puts Taylor on the mat a few times.

Pavlik outlanded Taylor by 50% in their rematch and still just eeked by on the scorecards. Froch's not got the same disciplined 1-2 attack as Pavlik and I seriously doubt he outlands Taylor, much less outlands him 3:2. Taylor pumps the jab all night and follows it up with right hands on Froch's wide open chin.

This is the problem with Froch... how can we know how good or bad he is if no one ever fights him? It's not Froch's fault that he hasn't had any big name opponents on his ledger, he's called out everybody.

There is no department at all in which Froch has an advantage over Kessler.

I suppose there are a few areas in which neither of them is clearly better. We don't know who has the better chin, because neither has faced a big enough puncher for us to judge, but in most areas Kessler is much better.
