Actually, I think the person I could see most likely beating Froch would be Abraham... I've got a lot of time for Abraham. Regardless of the fact that it should have been stopped as a TKO, anyone that can go seven rounds with their mouth open pouring blood and not get stopped has my respect.

SMW is a great division. I was cussed badly for trying to defend it recently. There are some great match ups on the horizon and I can see Pavlik joining the fray after a few more championship bouts at middlewight.

Froch went life and death with Pascal, who is nowhere near as good as Taylor.

Froch has to make up a LOT of ground over Lacy to beat Taylor, while Taylor has to only make up for a little ground over an inferior Pascal to beat Froch.

A bit of an unorthodox analysis, but still better than most on this thread.

In all seriousness, if Taylor fights the way he did against Lacy, he will win it at least 8-4 if not by late round stoppage, as Froch leaves himself far more open than Lacy does, and Lacy almost ate the canvas a few times himself. Taylor just has to use his jab as his main defensive weapon and avoid Froch's wild windmills.

Lacy is completely shot, Calzaghe ended his career. Taylor's win is as meaningless as Froch's over B-class Pascal. A pre Calzaghe Lacy would have told us the real answers about Taylor.
Taylor will win though as this is a huge step up in class for Froch and the 22 bums he's so far fought.
