For me he leans in too much and does not utilizes his height and reach. I believe his workrate and aggressiveness negates his Southpaw stance.

On top of all this he is wide open too right hooks.

He reminds me of Amir Khan in the sense that he is void of a Boxing brain, he does not know how to Box by thinking his way through a fight he just throws more punches instead of thinking.

How do you know whether he's thinking or not when he's throwing punches? Wiliams didn't beat Margarito over 12 without thinking.

I agree. You can't call Williams overhyped while praising Martinez in the same breath.

Shane or Paul are the top 2 welters and I see Shane beatin him. Paul's a good fighter but all he has is output and height. If he moves up and fights some1 who's slick and gives him a lotta movement he's in trouble. I mean Paul can't punch a lick. Comparing him to Hearns is ridiculous.

He can't punch?? Quintana, Verno and Kolle (who had never been knocked out at MW) disagree. A bunch of Williams haters running their mouths. What a shock. Enjoy his victory over Winky.

Lmao I aint no Williams hater. He's the 2nd best welterweight. Who the hell has Verno ever beat? And who's Kolle? An insurance salesman? I do give him credit for whoopin Quintana's ass tho. The Tommy Hearns comparisons aint justified tho.

They are NOT exactly the same, but it is a fair comparison. Everybody may come up with excellnet pro's and con's...

pwill needs to fight tall! it's his best advantage, and he also needs better defense. he gets hit much to often with such a huge reach advantage.
