Paul Williams has all the physical attributes, but.......

Paul Williams has all the physical attributes in terms of height, reach, southpaw stance and a fantastic workrate, but i dont believe he has the Boxing brain to maximize his potential.

For me he leans in too much and does not utilizes his height and reach. I believe his workrate and aggressiveness negates his Southpaw stance.

On top of all this he is wide open too right hooks.

He reminds me of Amir Khan in the sense that he is void of a Boxing brain, he does not know how to Box by thinking his way through a fight he just throws more punches instead of thinking.

The thing about Williams is that his success depends more on his physical abilities and attributes than skill. Not saying isn't skilled, because he is, but he would need more than just physical advantages against someone like Sergio Martinez.

i hate how paul williams is just tall lanky with a long reach and all of a sudden he is the best boxer in the welterweights.

The guy is seriously in need of another good ass kicking just to get people to shut up about him

I agree with the point you are making 2501, but by the same token i think Martinez is getting overhyped a bit too. I mean yes he looked fantastic against Bunema, but who else has he actually beat and was Bunema ever that good anyway?

There has been some terrible undercard fights over the last 2 years on some of these big fight cards.

Do you remember Rocky Juarez vs Jose Andres Hernandez (boring) undercard to DLH vs Mayweather

What about Lacy vs Manfredo (boring) on undercard to Hatton vs Mayweather

I just checked and that Bunema fight (boring) was on the undercard to another relatively big fight Roy Jones Jr v Felix Trinidad
