lol haha to be honest both fighters we as dirty in the fight but yeah like mr crust said benn was never the same after the fight but i do think it would have been nice of him to do something to help mclellan as his website says hes never even called gerald or his family since the fight and acording to the site geralds broke and it costs 70k a year just in medical bills and they rely on the charity they have set up. it would have been nice of benn to help at least once

Thats not true.Benn has held quite a few events and raised a fair bit of money for him...though it did take him a long while to do it.Benn said he had a huge amount of trouble coming to terms with it,and his own personal life started going badly wrong.

ah well that i didnt no im just going on what ive read but like i say i dont belive everything i read lol but i do no that benn found it hard to deal with but that expected i think the only good thing was he didnt kill him as that would have been worse for benn to deal with but i suppose it depends how you look at it for mclellan some mite say that a man of his conditioning before the fight would rather have died than end up like he has. im not one of those ppl

tho i read once that mclellan used to bread pitbulls for fighting and used to get puppys form the animal rescue places and throw them to the pitbulls and let them tear the pups apart so some could say he deserved it but i dont belive everything i read so i guess its what you want to belive and i dont think anyman deserves what happened to gerald

First time I've heard anything about puppies being tossed to his pitbulls...got a source for that? Otherwise I'm inclined to dismiss it as a chinese whisper.

Gerald is one of my all-time favorite fighters. Not on accomplishments...being cut down just ahead of his prime that way, he never got to live up to his potential. But just as a pure destroyer of men, I've never found another fighter as fascinating to watch for tearing fighters up as Gerald. Inhumanly cold and vicious in the way he approached the task.
