I have heard many people claim Benn dominated the fight and is wasn't even close but the truth is the bout was competitive throughout until Gerald quit due to brain trauma.

So the ref in Casamayor-Katsidis was biased in favour of Casamayor?

Because he got knocked out of the ring and was allowed to continue, so...

The ref wasn't biased, he was just incompetent. If you listen to the pre-fight instructions, he seems unable to speak English.

Watson vs Eubank 2 was a better fight, infact i think thats arguably the best fight ever in a British ring.

Nigel Benn certainly did get some help from the ref, but i think regardless Nigel Benn would of still won. He was a man possessed that night, any other time Gerald McClellan would of KO'ed Nigel Benn early. But he just wouldn't stay down he was a different kind of animal that night.

I agree Dynamite Kid Michael Watson vs Chris Eubank 2 was a better fight, Michael Watson just like Nigel Benn was a man possessed that night. His workrate was unreal and he really did give Chris Eubank a pasting, the 11th round was one of the best rounds i've ever seen.

Michael Watson's in trouble then he comesback and floors Chris Eubank, then Chris Eubank gets straight back up and floors Michael Watson unbelievable stuff. I think Michael Watson was the best out of Steve Collins, Nigel Benn, Chris Eubank, personally.

Yep, he really did hammer Eubank in the rematch. I watched the fight live and i will never forget that fight for as long as i live. I was only 10 when i watched that fight, but i can still remember it to this day, because my brothers were all backing Watson and i backed Eubank, because id seen a few of his fights on ITV and i became a fan of his etc.

I heard an interview with Steve Collins on live and dangerous where he said he believes the damage to Michael Watson was done in the McCallum fight. Interesting i thought, because McCallum did take a lot out of him in that fight.

Man you cant beat that 11th round as McGuigan put it that is the sign of a Champion(Eubank).

I was too young to experience it live unfortunately but i did watch a repeat of it, in the late 90's. So it was like watching it live incredible fight, it may the best British fight of all time.

Chris Eubank just isn't human he's made of iron the throughout beating, he took against Michael Watson would of finished most fighters in the Super Middleweight division. Not forgetting the two wars against Carl Thompson at "Cruiserweight".

But i still can't believe he got straight back up after being on the verge of losing by KO, and landed that fatal uppercut. The only thing i dislike about the fight is i don't think they should of let it continue.

I know its easy to say with hindsight but, in the last round the ref had to drag Michael Watson across the middle of the ring, to touch gloves with Chris Eubank. And the way Chris Eubank looked at Michael Watson, i think he sensed something was wrong aswell.

Michael Watson did get a throughout beating against Mike McCallum aswell, after only the first few rounds he was gasping for air. From all those devastating body shots, and in the KO round i believe Michael Watson actually rebounded off the ropes then Mike McCallum KO'ed him ?

Which would of made the force of the punch much worse, that was just brutal. Mike McCallum is one of my favorite fighters i love to see break down an opponent.

Im gonna put me kneck on the line, because i believe it was the best British fight of all time. McCallum vs Graham was a legendary fight too though i thought.

Yeah Eubank's chin was just phenomenal. There is a point in the Calzaghe fight where Calzaghe hits him with 3 consecutive hooks and Eubank does not go down. I swear any other fighter would of been Ko'ed or at the very least have been dropped from those shots.

I did'nt think Francais did a bad!! job. I mean i agree Watson's legs did not look right when he met Eubank in the centre of the ring, but i think its hard to recognize these things in the heat of battle. I mean Ferdie Pacheco,Albert,Watt,Gutteridge had no clue what was happening too McClellan and Pacheco is a doctor himself, but all the tell tail signs are all there, if you watch the fight back.

McCallum is one of my fav's too. His Ko of Curry was a brilliant punch and i felt he beat James Toney the second time.
