I never said Cortez did a good job, but facts are facts Hatton did not get KTFO by Cortez. Ive seen enough fights where the referee has been against a fighter and they have still managed to find a way to come out on top regardless.

Hatton would get warned for holding then go straight back at Floyd and try to initiate another clinch instead of trying something different. That fight was fragmented and scrappy like all Hatton's fights.

Show me a fight at the top tier of boxing with a ref performance as bad as that and the fighter on the wrong end of it won.....

Ive seen better ref performances in Germany.

Its hard to win a fight without people coming out with little excuses these days, Hatton lost plain and simple and it had nothing to do with cortez.

Hatton gets away with murder over here in england against his previous opponents including tsyzu so for him or his fans to complain about cortez not allowing him to do his dirty trick is a bit over the top.
