You know sometimes in a fight the referee is against for what ever reason, but you dont **** on about it after the fact, because you lost. Im sure Kostya Tszyu felt Dave Parris was against him when he fought Hatton and he would of been right. Dont give me all this Tszyu was fouling Hatton too, because Tszyu was retaliating to what Hatton was doing. Difference is Tszyu accepted the fact the ref was against him and got on with it and didn't complain about the referee afterwards.
If Cortez was not going to let Hatton rough Floyd up inside why did'nt Hatton change his tactics or adapt? because he is one dimensional thats why his only chance to beat Floyd was by bending the rules and he was not allowed to do it here like he did in the Tszyu fight and he lost, simple.
I said before this fight happened that it depends on what the ref will allow Hatton to get away with. Hatton only has a chance against Pacquiao, because of how dirty he fights and he may be allowed to get away with it this time.
Cortez let Hatton do nothing inside he even broke them a couple of times when Hatton was letting punches go.
He never called the crotch sniffing and constant elbows from Floyd either, or Floyd constantly turning his back.

I never said Cortez did a good job, but facts are facts Hatton did not get KTFO by Cortez. Ive seen enough fights where the referee has been against a fighter and they have still managed to find a way to come out on top regardless.
Hatton would get warned for holding then go straight back at Floyd and try to initiate another clinch instead of trying something different. That fight was fragmented and scrappy like all Hatton's fights.
