Absolutely he caused Hatton to lose. There were a number of times in the first three rounds where Hatton caught Mayweather with a solid shot to the face and was just about to follow it up only for Cortez to jump in to protect Mayweather and pull Hatton away.

These are the type of nationalistic troll fans that this thread was aimed at. All Weebler sees is a Brit vs American but the truth is they are both just fighters. Your own commentators said Mayweather was just a class above Hatton but you on the other hand can't even imagine a scenario where Mayweather wins fairly and that is true ignorance. The gameplan of Hatton lunging chin in the clouds is the reason PBF was able to snipe him so easily. JMM would also have been excellent at picking off his chin like that. I'll be shocked if Senior allows Hatton to lunge like that at Pacquiao.
