P4P should be about, who you beat or lose to, and how. Plus resume!!!!!!!!Comment

Because he lost twice. Even tho they were very competitive fights he loss to 2 in a row, he should be 11 or 12. With a decent win he will get back on my list. But there are guys like Hatton, Darchinyan and others who have done very good lately. I mean 1 loss, dont get you out of the top 10 P4P, depending on your previous ranking but 2 losses, come on now!!!!!!Comment

Marquez didnt got stoped?????????? I suggest you pay more antention. He got stoped and then he lost a D, to the same guy. Cotto only had lost one, and when he fought Gomez he was undefeted, the number 1 WW, plus he came from beating the current number 1 WW!!!!!!!!!!!!1Comment

Cotto beat Gomez and got Ko'd by Margarito, two guys not previously on the top 10. Marquez has 2 close, competitive fights with a top 10 fighter. Your biased, and thats ok, but thats why I said you were biased.Comment

Hatton definitely deserves to be at least 8th. He has only been beaten by one guy and that happened to be the P4P #1 in the world at the time. That's impressive. Take a closer look at the other guys on the list above him and make the decision objectively for once.
1)Manny Pacquio=3 losses and 2 by KO againt unknowns.
2)Juan Manuel Marquez=4 losses, albeit to good fighters but not all P4P ranked.
3)Joe Calzaghe=Has only beaten one prime fighter worth a crap. (Kessler)
4)B-hop=5 losses to good & elite comp, but 5 losses are still losses.
5)Izzy Vasquez=4 losses, 3 by TKO/KO and 2 unknowns KO'd him.
6)Shane Mosley=5 losses to good competition, but not to the P4P #1's.
7)Rafael Marquez=Gets KO'd 4 out of 5 losses and loses 2 times in a row, yet still has a top 10 P4P spot. What does he have to do to drop out? Die in the ring?
8)Ivan Calderon=No losses, but he has also not fought anyone of note at all.
Does anyone still doubt Hatton's claim to P4P legitimacy?Comment

hypothetical fights between boxers is the original basis of the pound-for-pound rankings i believe, and that should still be a factor today
resume is important as hell, but it's not the be all and end allComment
