Taylor should at least fight Miranda, Green is a joke his crowning glory was his KO of Codrington in 2005 and his last fight vs Carl Daniels? uhh why is he getting this opportunity? He has a punchers chance I guess. Still as many people say its a pointless fight. At least its not a rematch with SpinksLast edited by Nobuhiro Sugoi; 01-31-2009, 05:35 AM.Comment

i think Bat the MAn is spot on when he says that taylor holds the keys to the division. taylor is the guy who all three big champs (bute, kess and froch) want. he brings american recognition, big money, a solid and very respectable name and future big money fights.
now taylor knows that the 2 big guns are kess and froch. they are the 2 big champs, kess in partciluar. the thing is neither of them are big american names in the US, so a loss against either of them would be devastating. especially a loss to froch, kess is recognised by alot of the boxing hardcore as a terrific fighter, a loss to froch on the other hand spells disaster.
taylor has figured why should i take two risks and fight both of them when i can just let them unify and then take on the winner. what i cant figure out though is why not take on bute. bute is a good fighter but one that taylor would handily beat, whats more a fight against him would allow him to unify and bring more to the table when he takes on froch/kess.Comment
