What a joke. What a waste of time. There's so many fine fighters at 168 and they really should be fighting each other. Now we get another pointless fight.

I blame Taylor. He holds the key to the division via his american stardom. I can see no point for him choosing this fight at this time.

Yes this is what's killing boxing. The best aren't interested in proving they're the best by beating the best any more, they're only interest is money to the exclusion of everything else. It's very sad.

As for the money, He was offered $1.6 million to fight Froch in the UK - how much is he getting to fight Green?

For sure it could. Taylor should be fighting for a belt now.

As I said he holds the division key. But he doesn't deserve them.

To avoid fighting for a championship belt that you're a mandatory for in order to take a much less meaningful fight that makes a little more money (but hardly makes megabucks) shows greed at best and chicken at worst. It certainly shows he doesn't have much pride, IMO. It's not as if he was offered peanuts to fight Froch - $1.6 million is more than most people could earn in a lifetime.

It shows a lack of confidence IMO. No excuse can be made for Taylor not fighting Froch, Kessler or Bute. With a win over any of those guys his next purse would imrove quite a bit IMO.

Yes, especially if they all fought each other to come up with an undisputed champion - Froch-Taylor and Kessler-Bute, and then the winners fighting each other would make mega-bucks. So Taylor's and Di Bella's money excuse doesn't wash.

I'm very disappointed by the number of US fans who seem happy to condone his behaviour. What boxing needs is for the best to fight the best, and Taylor clearly has no interest whatsoever in fighting the best.

His coming off two straight losses, a nice win over Lacy and well, Allen Green is not a bum nor a lame duck... this gives Froch the time to fight a meaningful fight, Kessler to and Taylor if he wins figths one of the two.. or Allen green fights one of the two if he wins i like this ****.. Taylor v Green should be a great fight!

Their were a few other fights I would have rather seen him in but this is okay. I hope Taylor gets a highlight reel KO and fights Kessler.

Yeah. I dont get it. Taylor is a former p4p guy. If yank posters seem content with him fighting Green... well....
