He definitely seems to be implying that Margarito was on the take

No, he doesn't. Then why would he say that anyone who felt that Margarito threw the fight was an idiot?

No way possible you could see it in Margaritos face he just got his ass whooped. Mosley has seldom throwen punches with such force. He gives anybody a hard time when focused and he was ready to go on that night.

Dan Rafael: (1:36 PM ET ) In my entire career, there is only fight that I have watched that I am convinced was fixed.

Do you guys think he might be talking about Marg/Mosley?
Pablo Arellano will have to cut Margarito's head off before this poll gets to 30 yes votes.

Focused? He just went through a divorce and he has a new trainer after dumping his dad. I doubt that he was 100% focused.

Yeah, and he had to deal with the awkwardness of B-hop constantly blocking Mark Wahlberg's view. That was uncomfortable for everyone.

What works for one guy might kill the next.

Look at Holyfield and Buster Douglas, both had lost their mothers right before kicking Tyson's ass. Wouldn't that be a distraction. People thought they would pull out of the fights when that happened.

Are you telling me that an emotional wreck like Mosley was could just walk into the ring and destroy the iron-chinned Margarito?

Are you telling me that an emotional wreck like Holyfield and Douglas were after they lost their mothers could beat the indomitable Mike Tyson? Because they did.

How would you know if Mosley was "an emotional wreck?" You are supposing that, you don't know that his separation was emotionally devastating to him, you can only guess. For all we know, his separation galvanized him to perform better. Maybe he felt free for the first time in a long while.

It definitely could have worked to strengthen his resolve but B-hop constantly yelling in his ear was probably a distraction!
