see i'm a little bit against the grain on the topic of floyd at 147.
He fought baldo who was the lineal champ. Can't blame him for wanting the lineal title. To a lot of guys (like me) the lineal title means more than the alphabet titles.
He fought zab who was still top ranked at 147. They already had plans to fight and since zab was still a big name and still had a belt (because of org politics) then i can't say much against that either.
Oscar and hatton was $$$$$$. Who can turn that down? That's like throwing away a winning super lotto ticket.
My problem wasn't really his run at 147 , to me he's not a natural welter anyway. Though he was the champ and stayed there so i would have liked to see him fight marg and cotto.
this is cool...ima send u karma for this. U want floyd to fight them, but he never ducked them. And his fights at 147 were legit fights, championship fights!
