Agreed but IMO PBF was never a 147, Judah is more a 140 than 147 too.

Look the point I was adressing was the claim he avoided the competition from 135 - 147 and I was trying to illustrate he didn't particularly.

Should you want to argue he didn't fight the best at 147 then fine I agree but I personally don't hold it against him.

I don't understand your opinion when the fact is, Floyd fought at 147 multiple times. So did Zab. In fact, Zab had his only big win at 147.

see i'm a little bit against the grain on the topic of floyd at 147.

he fought baldo who was the lineal champ. can't blame him for wanting the lineal title. to a lot of guys (like me) the lineal title means more than the alphabet titles.

he fought zab who was still top ranked at 147. they already had plans to fight and since zab was still a big name and still had a belt (because of org politics) then i can't say much against that either.

oscar and hatton was $$$$$$. who can turn that down? that's like throwing away a winning super lotto ticket.

my problem wasn't really his run at 147 , to me he's not a natural welter anyway. though he was the champ and stayed there so i would have liked to see him fight marg and cotto.

My point about PBF is he fought 4 times at 147, twice against 140 fighters, once against Judah who in 12 fights at 147 lost 5.

had Judah stayed at 140 i don't think he would have lost 5 fights in those 12.

judah did not want to stay at 140 while kostya was still around.

if he did......judah-hatton would've been nice to see.

Why? He was stopped in two by the world's best 140lber then won the linear welter title (for what it's worth). Moving up doesn't mean moving to better. Just ask Roy Jones.

man , i still remember screaming and jumping up and down when they stopped the fight.

kostya was the man. zab was never the same since imo.
