Mosley could have had the fight, but tooth was hurting. what else u got !!!
freitas and casamayor was #3 and #4 at 130 around 2000 when floyd and diego was #1 and #2.

when floyd beat diego freitas and casa jumped to #2 and #3 behind #1 floyd.

the lineal title is given by The Ring. Who is no better than WBC,WBO or IBF, for that matter. If you think Baldomir was better, than Mosley, Cotto or Magarito at that time you are a fool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

People who PBF COULD have fought @ 135-147 during the time he was in those divisions.

135: Castillio, Johnson, Spadafora, Lazcano. all four where top 5 when he got into the division and top 5 when he left.

140: Tzsyu, Gatti, Hatton, Cotto, Mitchell. See above.

          147: Judah, Margarito, Baldomir, Cotto.

Now thats not a bad record IMHO.

how the hell did he beat 2 lineal champs back to back?

hello. zab lost the lineal title to baldomir before floyd fought him.

therefore he was not the lineal champ anymore.

he beat 1 lineal champ that was baldo.

shane couldn't beat forrest who couldn't beat mayorga who couldn't beat spinks who lost to zab who laid an egg against baldomir.

from 2002-2006 , a space of 4-5 years there was SEVEN lineal champs at 147.

Agreed. But please note he never fought Hatton and Mitchell at 140. So you have to ask yourself where do those two fighters rank at welter, where he fought them.

so you admit he pussied out of a fight with the real 140 champ?
btw to imply that by pointing this fact out that it makes me(& many others)

yes i would give floyd more respect if he fought tszyu! but he didnt! that is the point!!

Dude didn't want it wit tough WW comp. The excuse cats use for this is they didn't bring enuf $. The guy said himself he got more $ than he could ever spend, so why use that excuse not to fight good fighters in your division, all of whom you'd be favored to beat? This argument is tired, and it's pointless since Mr boat buyer is retired now. Cats really need to stop bringin him up all the damn time.
