The only issue is he is in a legal contract with his promoter a guy who lately has nixed some big fights for him.

Palle can sue the pants off of Kessler if he jumps ship, and Kessler will lose in court, so Kessler loses all-around.

I imagine at the time of the contract, it was Kessler's best option to sign and the most money. I think it's really hard to know how it will pan out when a boxer signs with a promoter.

On top of that, negotiations between promoters aren't always easy to get big fights done.

Whenever a fighter claims that other fighters (a swarm, usually) are ducking him, what he really means is that he's not getting paid.

When Bernard Hopkins was screaming that back in the late 90's, he wasn't getting paid.

When Antonio Margarito was screaming that, he wasn't getting paid.

Hagler. And on and on. But that's not the case here. And that's why I believe the fighter is complicit. Why wouldn't he be? Loads of money to fight this chump? Hell yeah, sign me up. I like how you can generalize a population of over 300,000,000 people based off a comment made by 5punchcombo. The situation between Kessler and his team is well known by most of the people on Boxing Scene, don't let 5Puncehes ignorance fool you into thinking other wise. I always had a feeling Palle was holding him back and with the constant bickering between Mikkel and his team it is even more apparent.
