Mads Larsen is a good fighter; he arguably got jobbed against Ottke and has been quality at Super Middle for a long time. I can understand people disappointed for not seeing more familiar faces, but if this comes to pass it's a good, competitive fight.

Johnson-Kessler would be good, but I'd rather see Kessler concentrate on fighting and beating the other top super-middleweights and cleaning out the division, so that we can have a dominant champion again. He should have challenged Bute, and then the winner could have challenged the winner of Taylor-Froch. And as Hector of Troy said, there are many other super-middleweights who are far more deserving than Larsen. I've lost a lot of respect for Kessler - he seems determined to fight nobodies.

Kessler's being pathetic. He keeps claiming he wants to fight the best but he keeps fighting nobodies. He could fight Bute, Froch or Taylor if he wanted, but instead he calls out people he knows have no reason to fight him, and who aren't even at his own weight, like calling out Hopkins or Dawson to fight him at catch-weight, presumably so his more gullible fans will believe he wants big fights, when he doesn't - yet there are plenty of big fights that are genuinely on the table for him at Super-Middleweight and he's not interested in any of them. He's only interested in fighting nobodies. He's a good illustration of what's wrong with boxing - I've lost a lot of respect for him lately.

STFU! He's been trying to get a fight with Taylor for ages now, and Froch as well, this fight is only happening as part of a deal to get out from his promoter who screwed him with fine print in one of his contracts. Haussler was a mandatory, and he only fought Sartison because Mundine (then #2 in Ring ratings) ducked him (didn't want another beating...).
Why don't you criticise Taylor who ducks Froch twice even though he's the mandatory challenger?
