Be serious. Unfortunately for you I'm full of energy today and eager to post. So bring me some more BS so I can flush it down the toilet.
You haven't refuted why Hopkins ducked him.

I said Jones avoided him, not ducked. The fact that he fought weak opposition means the excuse that Calzaghe was an unknown quantity is pretty weak.

I remember it being something like Jones was out of contract with HBO, Showtime offered him $6m to fight with Calzaghe and then he quickly signed with HBO again.

I dont understand why this cat is saying "we knew how good he was"......

    No they didnt! lol
ALot of people over here knew how good he was, not all obviously. Steve Bunce predicted he'd shut Lacy out and win every minute of every round. We weren't all clueless that Joe was a great fighter.

Didn't think you could refute that.

I said he was being slept on in the USA pre-Lacy, I didn't say you didn't see is fights. He fought on Showtime.

Hopkins pricing himself out of a CAREER HIGH payday has alot to do with it, you're saying "who was Calzaghe back then"....I'm telling you Calzaghe was the man that the Executioner ducked.
Didn't think you could refute that.

Aside from Ottke, no one even thought he was good enough to duck. Like I said, that ****'s the equivalent of someone saying Mayweather was ducking Timothy Bradley. What if Bradley goes on to have a similar career to Calzaghe? Can you imagine some idiot saying Floyd ducked him way back then? Well we're following the sport so we can refute that. Same way we're refuting this horse****.
You think if Bradley offered Mayweather a career high payday he'd turn it down? LOL

Unless you have something to add to the debate take a back seat kid, otherwise you just look like a nuthugger who defends their boy without knowing the facts.

You've posted no facts yourself. Just BS. An offer sheet from Showtime that Roy Jones turned down = a Calzaghe duck in your eyes. Ask yourself...who's the nuthugger?

You don't turn down career high paydays unless you think it's a big risk. Fact.
