He pulled out twice because of injury, Johnson refused the third fight becuase he had a better offer which is fair enough.

And just for the record Glen Johnson was **** at Supermiddle weight.

    11 fights 5 wins 6 losses.

after the third fight was turned down, you're correct.

          Here is the story: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/boxing/3834557.stm

Oh and for the record the guy he did fight took his mandetory challenger to a split desicion and the mandetory was already contracted to fight someone else.

I honestly dont blame Joe for not wanting to fight Johnson. I mean, really, how much interested will this bring in?

I also think Dawson, tho touted in the States highly (and rightly so) is still not a big enough draw.

I'd like to see him fight CF, a true battle of Britain, memories of Benn / Eubank etc. It's would sell by the bucket load, admittedly not so much in the US as Carl isnt so well known, but here in the UK it would be a very big fight.

Johnson won all 3 fights imo and won the 2nd fight by a big margin.

A fair number off them he should have plus his style was diffrent in those days he was more off a stand off boxer, but he changed his style late in his career to become a presure fighter.
