It was a dull but VERY close bout that could have gone either way and was more or less a draw.
Which against a 43 year old guy is pretty lame.

Fact is, Calzaghe also had a very close SD against Reid. Yet refused him a rematch.

Calzaghe however faced a mediocre fighter called "Veit".

Won by TKO Round 1, and was more then happy to face him in a rematch.

I highly doubt he gets a rematch. Calzaghe won a close decision in the first fight. The fight was boring as hell as well. Both guys are awkward so neither looked good. And I don't think Joe wants to fight him again.

How does someone get his 'ass' whopped when they lost a fight on split decision? And there was no bruises cut etc on Hopkins after the fight...

And its a credit for Hopkins for not calling out Roy... He said after Roy lost to Calzaghe that Roy did'nt have it in him any more.
