Calzaghe is NO DOUBT going to be in the HOF. He also won the fight (boring as it was) with Hopkins by throwing and landing twice as many punches. There were very few "clean" punches landed by either fighter and in those kind of fights the busier guy will always win the rounds. A rematch is pointless. It wont sell and the outcome would be similar since neither is going to get knocked out.

I despise Calzaghe. But in saying that, I still cant see how someone could be blind enough to give that fight to Hopkins. It wasnt as one sided as the jones fight but Hopkins simply did not work enough.

I was 100% for hopkins that fight and up until the last second I was hoping he would knock Calzaghe out and still win. But I was not delusional enough to think he won the fight.

there were plenty by hopkins and virtually none by calzaghe. not too hard to distinguish if you actually watch where the punches land and not just the arms moving. you were hypnotized by the windmilling welsh woman.

please stop hiding behind these code words. hopkins "work" far exceeded calzaghe's cause he landed all the clean punches. how is it "work" if you aren't landing anything. i call that being sloppy and you should be fired from whatever job you "work" at.

So nobody in this thread can take a joke?

Hopkins is a bitter loser. Joe is 100% right when he says regardless of outcome, Hopkins will never give him any credit. Its his own fault he lost. A cheat who feigned a low blow to buy himself time. He was on the back foot all the time and his tactics made the fight one of the most boring in a long long time. It is truely amazing and bizare why people would want a second fight. Hopkins will play the same ol game like he did in the first fight.
