Would have been a great fight prime vs prime Ali was unusally fast for a HW and when he was inhis prime hard to catch...joe Louis was great no debate about it but the time periods and fighting styles were totally different. Louis was certainly not slow, but by no means comparable to Ali in the speed department. That said, fighters like Cooper and Frazier were not as fast as Louis and caught ali. Not saying he would definetly win, but he was better than either of those two and would be able to land also.

Its a later version, but still great ali who lost to Norton. Louis was a much better fighter than Norton and would have a great chance to duplicate his success against even a younger5 version of Ali. JMO.
