I always believed that Floyds intentions were to secure a De La Hoya fight first, but Oscar was out of the game for a while. Then he went scrounging for fights, thats when Margarito was offered... he refused. He took the Baldomir fight instead. I cant justify why he did'nt take Margarito... But thats one fight. There isnt no one else that called him out that he ducked.

The only thing i can say is that after he beat Judah, if he had'nt fought Baldomir, do you honestly believe he would'nt have got stick if he had'nt faced them? Be honest with me. I cant justify why he did'nt face Margarito, maybe he wanted a fight later on like he said, i cant say... nor can i make assumptions.

But truthfully say if he had'nt faced Baldomir, your telling me he would'nt have got stick for not facing him? Everyone would have jumped on it and made out as if ducked Baldomir. Thats the truth, theres always another opponent out there.

Like i've said previously, im a Floyd fan but moreover im a boxing fan. I want Floyd to fight Margarito. Im not a nuthugger, im a realist. I want to see the best fights out there and Floyd vs Marg is a great boxing match. Hence why i cant make excuses for him not fighting Marg, he'd always said he'd fight him after Oscar, but he has'nt as of yet... But you never know.

Honestly, i dont see how he would've been ragged for not facing Baldomir after Baldo beat Judah. Reason why? Baldo is ****, and everyone knew that his win over Judah was fluke win. Floyd/Baldomir was a mismatch from the jump! Margarito was the much more dangerous opponent for Floyd, and that's a fact. I respect your honest opinion though.

Well with all due respect, If Bhop was the one who offered the fight to Roy, then it was Bhop who was "trying to make the fight"

if you say your going to fight someone 50/50 .. then thats what you do... you dont say that, and then turn around... and say.. the company that im partners in.. is going to take a 1/4 of the purse first.. then we will split it...

roy was ALL for 50/50.... it was roy who was actually down to make the fight 50/50... not bernard...

Tarver is shot... But RJJ is more shot. How can you justify him not fighting Tarver because he's shot, but fighting RJJ, who's been shot for 4/5 years?

At least when Tarver called him out he was light heavy world champ. What was RJJ when Calzaghe faced him? Did he hold any belt... NO, he just held a legacy.

Personally, i would've prefered to see the rematch at the time Bhop's offered a 50/50 split, and Roy wanted a 60/40 split. Both fighters were much closer to prime back then. Too bad it never happened.
