Maybe Roy didnt duck that many but he fought too many bums in his career when there were plenty of other fighters to fight.

Toney and Hopkins then its thread bare.

roy quickly responded and was very excited and said that 50/50 would be great and told g leon to have bernard send the contract... well they sent it, and roy immediately called btalk.com pissed off... and said the contract said.. after GBP takes 25%... then roy and bernard split it 50/50...

Who was really trying to make the fight?

And those are actual archived, phone logs on btalk.com
Well with all due respect, If Bhop was the one who offered the fight to Roy, then it was Bhop who was "trying to make the fight"

Actually if you were to look the top 10 LHW's while roy was at LHW in the 90's... roy fought 8 out of 10 of them... thats an actual fact

These are 5 fighters that are/were ready and willing to take on Calzaghe, but no the fights never happened. Why? Calzaghe would rather face guys like Manfredo Jr and Saiko Bika than take on real challenges.

The only thing i didnt like about Roy when he was in his prime was the fact that he didnt try to make big fights. He had a very lucrative HBO contract, and was satisfied with fighting civil service workers. The policeman, the garbage man, the sanitation worker, and the subsitute teacher.

if you say your going to fight someone 50/50 .. then thats what you do... you dont say that, and then turn around... and say.. the company that im partners in.. is going to take a 1/4 of the purse first.. then we will split it...

roy was ALL for 50/50.... it was roy who was actually down to make the fight 50/50... not bernard...

even though bernard is the one who came up with the damn idea in the first place
