Does Shane have the Mexican boxing style figured out?

Cotto himself is a pressure fighter and he still couldn't stay away from Margarito. So if a pressure fighter himself can't figure out a game plan win against another pressure fight then i think it just comes down to some pressure fighters are gonna get to you no matter what you do or how experienced you are fighting that style.Comment

im hoping mosely can beat margarito although i have my big doubts. i hope tony fights cotto in a rematch and i think cotto wins, his loss to tony was based upon the fact that he couldnt adapt. if he could out box margarito and only meet him in the centre of the ring when COMPLETELY necessary i think cotto wins and becomes a great. hatton v cotto then becomes a huge fight in 2009 And i think hatton wins to become a legitamte legend of boxingComment

Mosley poised for Margarito!
Sugar Shane Mosley says he won’t make the same mistakes Miguel Cotto made when he faces WBA welterweight champion Antonio Margarito on Saturday night in Los Angeles. “Cotto was not familiar with what Margarito brings to the table and I’m familiar with it because I’ve been brought up in California where I fought a lot of Mexican fighters and I know that type of style,” stated Mosley. “I know how to pace myself, how to win rounds. I’m basically a California fighter, I know how to go to the body, as well….I’m going to exploit him with the hand speed and the foot speed, I’m not saying I’m moving away from him and running and trying to get away from him, I’m not trying to really get away from him. Like I always do, I try to get my shots in.”

I think so. He has never lost to a volume punching, pressure fighting Mexican or Mexican American fighter. He has knocked them all out.Comment
