If you enjoy getting hit in the face, its all good, but most black folks look to get out of the way when a fist meant to do harm is coming at you, infact, most people who learn this basic tehcnique tend to go a long way in the sport and not burn out by age 28.
But why is it that we see more African American fighters with the shakes than Latino fighters? or with the drunk tongue? I'm seriously asking. i noticed this a while back. I've seen many interviews with Mexican boxing greats and their speech was normal, etc.

Its no mistery, with Margarito what you see is what you get, question is will he be able to handle that for 12.

This is sort of a funny topic. I was just talking to my brother about this(not the first time either), the only thing, and I mean the only thing that worries me about this fight("Money" Margarito and Mosley), is Mosley doesn't lose to mexicans...

P.S. I think that will change this weekend...I hope!!!

Mosley was raised in a predominantly Mexican neighborhood and trained in LA gyms so i'm sure he's very familiar with Mexican fighters, but his biggest problem wont be figuring out Margarito's style. It will be dealing with his constant pressure, workrate and iron chin.

Shane will ATTEMPT the Pacman technique used against DLH. Hop in throw a flurry and hop out of range. But, let's face it Tony is no DLH. It might work for a bit, but as Cotto found out there is no hiding from Tony. At some point there will be a toe to toe exchange that will begin Shane's inevitable beating.

Apparently Shane was sparring great Mexican fighters in the California gyms when he was like 15 years old.

You couln't be more wrong! Have you ever seen his early fights?? I dont mean the Oscar from the 2000's i mean the Oscar up tothe year 2000. He was great, his inactivity is what messed him up. He brought alot of attention to boxing when the sport needed it the most.

Or figure out a counter style so you can be able to handle it for 12. That's what Cotto couldn't do.

He and Oscar, before they turned pro, used to spar with Julio Cesar Chavez.
