No it's unnescessary no matter what you say simply because most Mayweather fans don't even know who Duran is much less actually watched the guy fight in the mid 70's when he was in his prime.

And being the greatest Lightweight of all time means nothing? Say what you want but the opinion of the greatest boxing writers in the world holds a hundred times more water than anything you have to say.
you made two false claims. you state duran is the greatest lightweight ever, I am sure many would disagree. to state a fighters greatness you have to argue the case. duran wasn't undefeated at 135 so saying he was greater then say benny leoanrd, or pernell whitaker you have to make a case for why he his 135 reign was better.

second lie was talking about greatest boxing writerts in the world..how does one become a great boxing writer pray tell...more exaggerations from a delusional duran fan.

tell me how duran goes 1-5 against the best and you rate him as top ten or top 5 atg.

when duran loses in your mind is it a victory

Are you gonna start discrediting Willie Pep next since he is considered the best featherweight of all time which happens to be Floyds most dominant weight class?
how many weightclasses did pep dominate or compete in. and henry armstrong is the barometer of greatness not willie pep.

I saw the fight where druan hit buchanan low after the bell and wsn't disqualified, I saw him lose to esteban dejesus the first time, I saw him quit against ray leoanrd, and get koed by hearns.

duran was inconsistent throughout his career and did not dominate any wieghtclass outside of his first can you say the same about floyd.

So, you're arguing about someone you've only seen four times?

I don't do fantasy matchups those debates are worthless

if duran could lose to esteban dejesus, kirkland laing, robbie simms, pat lawlor, and vinnie pazienza I am sure there is someone on floyd's resume greater then the fighters I just listed.

So, who do you think he would lose to? At the weight Mayweather fought them at and at the time?

You become a great boxing writer by actually writing about the sport for years and putting together a body of work. JUST LIKE ANYOTHER WRITER ****ING MORON!!!

The ring rated Duran the number one lightweight and they have been covering boxing since the 30's. How many articles and fights have you covered brandish? I only mention the ring magazine because even their youngest and least experienced writers have a greater reputation in the sport of boxing than you will ever have in your entire miserable life.

It doesn't matter that Willie Pep didn't dominate multiple weight divisions because again he's considered the best featherweight of all time.

Just because you fight in diffrent weight divisions makes no real diffrence on who is considered an ATG or not. By your logic Suger ray Robinson and jake lamotta wern't all time greats because they only fought at one weight division? Seriously you really think a mongaloid like yourself is gonna discredit every ****ing ATG fighter in the world and every major sports writer in the world just because you secretly want to have a love affair with floyd Jr?
