An undefeated one, no less. Fortunately he got a round 1 KO, otherwise he probably would have magically lost a decision despite winning all 12 rounds.

Not really just like Pavlik, Dawson will soon lose the forgotten about. His stamina is dire he also has a poor chin.

We agree to disagree. I just hope Joe has one more fight and picks the Young Lion to go out on. His legacy is already sealed but if he want's to put all the icing, cherries, and sprinkles on it Dawson is the man. Because if he could somehow win it would silence all the non-believers......me being one of them.

I agree that Dawsons chin isn't Hagler like. But it ain't glass, like some like to over hype, either. And really, the Calzaghe of today isn't packing as much of a punch as a Johnson or Adamek. Stamina, well, who does have Joe's, besides maybe Margarito?
I'm not on here predicting Dawson stopping Joe. Really, I see a close as hell fight.

Joe has been murder with tall guys. A tall guy that fights 1 minute a round? i just cant see it being competative after 6rds.

Fair enough. Good to have a disagreement over a fight's outcome, without mud slinging. Pretty rare thing on here.

I see Dawson getting a beating 'Jeff Lacy' style.

Don't worry about it, this is just a clear cut case of many people not watching Dawson and only going by who is most popular and not thinking about the style match up. They don't think that a 6'3 fast southpaw( who can punch) and has more experience against southpaws and bigger light heavyweights, will be a problem for Joe.

This is a much more knowledgeable thread on the topic where both sides gives good opinions.

The two are totally different fighters, Chunk. And I'm just going to leave it at that, bud.
