I'd pick Calzaghe over Dawson 12 ud. Dawson hasn't fought anybody on Calzaghe level, at the same time I don't think Calzaghe has fought anybody with the speed of Dawson.

I see Joe Calzaghe winning by decision. Despite Dawson's great performance against Tarver, Tarver and Calzaghe's style are like rain and sunshine. Tarver was tailored for Dawson. With Tarver needing a slow pace fight, that allowed Dawson to do whatever he wanted against Tarver. Calzaghe is not a fast pace fighter and I'm not sure Dawson can keep up with that pace, especially since he has shown tendency for slowdown in the second half of fights, which would work wonders for Calzaghe. Also, I think Dawson is still slightly green, though not quite as green as Jermain Taylor was, during his bouts with Hopkins and Wright.

Dawson would embarass him,Calzaghe has been down twice from glancing blows,when he ends up in that position with Dawson,I believe the young lion will finish him,Glen J. is easily the caliber of any elite fighter JC has been in with!!

A bit premature to call Dawson elite just yet, especially after the Johnson fight. But he just might be too young, too fast and too tall for Joe to beat at this point.

Dawson will be too hungry for Calzaghe to take... Calzaghe's done well against old slower fighters. Dawson will be on him for 12 rounds and will land his big shots on Calzaghe, he has the power to KO him.

I hope they fight at the Millenium Stadium and Dawson KO's him infront of his precious fans.
