After John Ruiz change all that.

The Reason Roy is so Highly reguarded is because he rose from middleweight to heavyweight over the course of 9 years.

And he beat a top 10 Heavyweight. to add to his legacy.

You're reading it wrong Reed, what he is saying is that all the fights before Ruiz are good, all those after have not been so good.

he is complementing RJJ before Ruiz. and compairing it too the pap that came after.

Not only that but the Coralles win was an utter destruction of the highest order, Hopkins got beat but not embarissed like Coralles.

Ok reed. Fair Enough. I can argue the signifance of both fights... but to move the convo forward.

let me restate this I think roy is top 20 All time.. So you are not going to get me to ragged of him that hard.

But roy was a victim of his own dominace.
Thats why he went to heavyweight.
                to get credit for something.

Jones went to heavyweight because he had always dreamed f becoming heavyweight champion of the world.. not because he was "too dominant"
