    Put this into perspective.

    SFW - WW = 17 lbs.

    LMW - Heavyweight = 46 lbs.

    Nice try but you fail.

I don't get it...wasn't the reason why people hated Floyd cuz he called himself the best WW...if RJJ called himself the best H.W...then why don't they give him ****?

When did RJ ever say he was the best HW? When Larry IV'd him after the Ruiz fight he said flat out he just did this to make history, not to launch a full blown HW campaign. He said he wasn't interested in fightin Byrd or Holy at HW, and I don't recall Lennox even bein mentioned. He wanted to use his HW belt as bargainin leverage for a big $ fight wit Tyson, that I do remember him sayin. And when that fight didn't happen, he went back down to 175 to reclaim his throne and answer the challenge of Tarver, the man who was tellin everybody who'd listen that Roy was duckin him.

The Reason Roy is so Highly reguarded is because he rose from middleweight to heavyweight over the course of 9 years.

More than a few eyebrow were raised over that, especially due to the fact that Jones had allegedly tested positive for steroids before.

            But to floyd though..

Ok would you be mad if Floyd came back and went back down to 135 or 140.

The point being people dont give Roy **** for going back down to Light
heavyweight even though he didnt clean out the Hw when he said he was the best. But yet, They act like this is the first time in history a fighters is doing what floyd has done. which is not clean out his 4th or 5th weight division.
            LOL
since when does being "undefeated" make you the best.. you can stack a record with bums and be undefeated.
Nice way to try and weasel yourself out of that one though.. but again you FAIL.

when it comes to record: Roy Jones > Mayweather.

It's not what title you fight for.. it's who you beat.

Roy fighting at Light heavyweight is not equivalent to floyd fighting at welterweight because WW is floyd's 4th division and LHW is Roy's 3rd...

From SFW - WW 17 pounds
From MW - HW (KLitschko and Lennox cause you mention them) ~85 pounds

              YOu still see no difference??

Floyd fought at Super Feather Weight

With respect Horus, you seem to forget how Roy was treated in his prime, he was seen as a ducker same as Floyd is now. They hated him for not fighting anyone "worthy" He was treated much like Floyd was/is treated. Only when he was far removed from his prime do people really see how magnificent Roy really was, it will be the same with Floyd you just have to wait until he retires or falls from boxing stardom (aka loses because he is shot) until he gets the respect he deserves

I always thougt that if Floyd lost...then he'd get his respect. Weird ain't it...cuz people want to see him lose
