You think Floyd is a borin fighter? Because of what...a few fights? Yeah sure.
People may be more interested in watching brawlers but people will forever like Boxers...live with it. Alot of people still find Floyd entertaining to watch

There was NEVER much demand from the fans for Floyd to fight Baldomir. Why? He was a c-level journeyman with 9 losses at the time (12 now). If u think that there was more of a demand for Floyd to fight Baldomir at the time, then there was for him to fight Margarito (the man who was calling Floyd out, and showing up at his press conferences to call him out), then put your points where your mouth is. Put up the poll.

Floyd pre 140-147 was actually entertaining to watch. His style since then has turned very defensive and quite boring. Fans will pack a stadium to watch Cotto vs Margarito over Floyd vs Spinks any day of the week, and twice on sunday! Yeah, there will be some fans who would prefer to watch Floyd/Spinks, but it will be a VERY quiet stadium.

Read people gave Floyd **** for fightin Zab instead of Baldy 1st. Ok...as much as you don't want to hear this. Margarito was a NO NAME and evidence of that is that Paul didn't get credit off of beatin him.

As a matter of fact, there was more pressure for Floyd to fight Margarito at that time, then there was for him to fight Baldomir. Everyone knew Baldomir's win over Judah was a fluke. Judah beat himself by underestimating Baldomir. All polls leading up to the Floyd/Baldomir fight had Floyd winning by wide UD, and that's exactly what happened. While i respect Baldo's determination, at the end of the day he was nothing more than a c-level boxer who happened to get lucky against Zab the idiot Judah, and a shot/end of his career Gatti.

Secondly, if Floyd main goal was to go after Baldomir's WBC belt, why did he go looking for fights with Spinks, Mosley, and Oscar prior to signing to fight Baldomir?

There was'nt pressure for a Margarito fight either, but their is now. Don't matter what you think of Baldomirs win over Judah, he still beat him and their will still be crys of Floyd ducking Baldomir had he not faced him.

I had'nt heard of him chasing Spinks and Mosley till now. Floyds been chasing De La Hoya for years. He only really moved up to welter to secure the fight with De La Hoya. He even says so himself.

But lets keep our fingers crosses for a Mayweather/Margarito fight in 2010.

Maybe you dont read so well. I clearly stated that Floyd pre 140-147 was quite an entertaining guy to watch. He actually threw combinations back then. Now he's a potshotting, one and done fighter.
