we know calzaghe is a great fighter, but he has'nt gotten the chance to prove it and make it fact, and it is his timing on things even though he had roy jones, hopkins, toney etc in their prime at the same time

The MOB but I wouldn't hold it against Rocky. The MOB was doing fishy things in boxing since the 1800s.

I'm not sure Rocky knew what was going on even though he was rumored to be hanging around mobsters. Maybe the mobsters along with his manager possibly did it anyway.

Ezzard Charles was pretty darn good. Although Charles was leaving the sport he did have a solid record of 82-11 and you can actually maybe say that Rocky broke Charles down. From the first Rocky fight Charles went 10-14 over his last 24 fights.
