lol Just as much as Manny Pacqyow.

But I know we won't see it from either, I think the first chance either takes a loss or gets put into a real shoot out they'll retire. Either way, the sooner they leave the sooner we can see some raw talent square off against raw talent.

If Calzaghe beats Dawson it would prove next to nothing because next to nothing is what Dawson brings to the table.
next to nothing is what Dawson brings to the table? have you ever seen him fight? and whether or not he has accomplished anything thus far doesn't really matter cuz everyone knows he will be the eventual LHW Lineal champ and that will further add to Calzaghe's legacy, were he to beat.

No, he proved he could fight and beat good opponents like Hopkins, Eubank, Lacy, and Reid.

He has proven he is a good boxer. He just isnt as great as he and his fans seem to believe.

a win over Dawson for Joe would be like B-Hop's win over Pavlik... it'd add a lot to his legacy imo, but does the risk/reward ratio weigh up for him is the question

i think he would deal with Dawson, despite Dawson's physical attributes giving Calzaghe problems on paper... i think Dawson is poor mentally. i think he can't adapt when he needs to, he's not particularly clever in the ring, and he lacks a bit of determination... maybe it's because he's still green, but they will be his downfall in a Calzaghe fight.

I guess the main difference between Calzaghe and Haye is that the 40 year olds stop Haye.

I remember all the self appointed experts in this forum predicting that Lacy would knockout Calzaghe. The debate wasn't about whether Calzaghe would get knocked out, it was about which round! Styles make fights. Lacy was a perfect style for Calzaghe and if any of these self appointed experts knew anything about boxing they wouldn't have been predicting a knockout.

Calzaghe is one of the great boxing talents of our generation, whether the self appointed experts recognize it or not.

What kind of question is this? Prove what? Prove to who? I'd like to see him fight more because I like watching fights... Has he proven he's the best fighter of all time? No. He could try to prove that. These threads are kind of silly.
