Does Calzaghe have anything left to prove?

Should Calzaghe retire because he has nothing left to prove or should he fight on because he still has something to prove?

No but id like him to get hold of Dawson he is perfect for Joe to stop having cleaned out 2 division which is rare.

Dawson has zero workrate, poor power and a very bad chin. Also Calzaghe loves punching up to fighters.

Dawson at Cardiff for his fans would be great if he dont still the best of his era.

I think Calzaghe does have 1 thing left to prove. He needs to prove that he could beat a prime highly skilled fighter. And he could do that by beating Dawson.

Calzaghe is, to me, the best figter in the sport now. However, the fanbase got to know him too late and don't really know him that well. Some fans think he has only defeated and old Hopkins and an old Jones and that's why he does not get recognized. For fans, he has proven his quality. For casuals, he is not that great. I say his legacy is cemented but if he wants to be remembered and a consensus top 10 light heavyweight or P4P fighter, he needs to do more. I'm not sure Dawson is that known to add much to Calzaghe's recognition though.

Dawson's too busy with old guys himself, a young(er) guy like Calzaghe is too risky.

People say 43yo as if to knock Calzaghe but when you look at what Hopkins has done since he turned 40! frankly its a poor way to try and knock Calzaghe.
