Maybe so, but does the US audience know the difference between Froch and Kessler?

If I try to be unbiased here I must say that IMO not much seperates the on-paper exitement values of Taylor-Froch and Taylor-Kessler. 2 different types of fights yes, but on paper both should provide some good action.

Keep in mind, Kessler may or may not be the best in the division, but he isnt actually "the" champ yet.
this isnt just about Taylor. I think HBO is tired of Kessler just sitting there fighting bums. who else is Kessler going to fight if Froch and Taylor fight? I doubt a Bute vs. Kessler fight would ever happen.

sorry Froch, but all youve ever done is beat Pscal, who most people only know because he pulled out of the Miranda fight. A Kessler vs. Taylor fight is the best fight to be made in the division. HBO aint lookin for a 'good' fight to be made, theyre looking for the best. and I say keep it up.

If Froch really wants to fight the bigger names, he ought to face a top ten fighter. in other words, Lacy, Allan Green, Inkin, Bute, Andrade, Mundine, Bika etc.

Of course Taylor can still fight Froch on Showtime.
*** HBO! Taylor should fight Froch for the belt first...

Winky? Nah, dude is boring as hell and hasnt fought in a long time, and eventhough they fought to a draw, Winky dont bring nada to the table...he's starting to fade out imo, and then was gonna fight munoz but got hurt??....i thought he was fighting PWill on the 14th of March??

Kessler has a fight scheduled i think and wont come to the US till middle of next year according to his manager...

I say fight Froch and if he wins, he can call out who he wants....and let it be on Showtime so HBO can suck a fat one

how many times has Froch even been seen in the US? at least Kessler has been seen twice I believe, and the Andrade and Calzaghe fights were pretty good ones.

I wouldnt boohoo if the Froch vs. Taylor fight got made, but we would all choose Kessler vs. Taylor over it anyday.

Kessler has no fight scheduled. His manager has said they'll be ready to reveal his new opponent by the end of next week. Of course that can change....

There is ongoing negotiations between Kessler's and Froch's camps. Besides that team Kessler is negotiating unnamed US opponents.

**** HBO is really starting to play hardball with these guys now.

I don't mind if Froch-Taylor doesn't get made, as long as it is replaced by a better fight. Obviously Taylor-Kessler would be awesome.

I think Mikkel would take it is a great scrap but it would be a great fight whatever happens.

I have nothing against Froch, but you can’t get a better fight at 168 than Kessler vs. Taylor.
I'm sure Froch will be able to find one or a few good opponents, with his new belt and all. And perhaps he could "fine tune" his defense, before stepping in against a solid jab. And he did look like he had to dig deep at the end of the fight against Pascal.

That being said, he is the WBC champ, and he deserves a big fight. Gunning for Taylor or Kessler for his first defense shows big balls.

Has anyone thought that maybe Kesslers team are chasing Kelly Pavlik at 168??? **** he went up to 175 for Hopkins!!
If both fighters turned up this would be a war...its unlikely however and its either Froch or Taylor for Kess...I would pay my $49.95 for either of these but would preffer Taylor of course.
