HBO to Jermain Taylor: Fight Winky or Kessler! No Froch.

HBO has allegedly refused to accept a WBC titlefight between Carl Froch and Jermain Taylor, according to the place where they talk boxing.

HBO has given Taylor a very short list: Fight Winky Wright or Mikkel Kessler if you wanna fight on HBO.

Of course Taylor can still fight Froch on Showtime.

Fighting Froch on Showtime and unifying against Kessler on HBO sounds good to me.

Kessler would make easy work of Taylor. I'd love to see Kessler-Dawson, but Kessler might turn out to be cack at 175.

I thought Taylor Froch would be a good fight...maybe not enough money in it but id really like to see what Froch can do. Hopefully they do it on Showtime

I don't think they would be too interested in that either.

I also read that Bute's promoter/manager wants to put him up against Larsen, the Danish boxer.

I'm not sure how much of a quality opponent people see Bute as anyway. After the ending to his last fight, I don't think he's rated as highly as he was, and he wasn't rated that highly to begin with.

Kessler-Taylor is a great fight, so hopefully that will get made. Froch-Taylor and Williams-Winky would also be very good matchups though.
