Well as proven in the past, you can't JUST box Margarito. You have to eventually fight him one way or another and that's really one thing Floyd has never been in or at least lured into. Margarito keeps coming after you and has clever ways to trapping you you when you least expect it.

With Margarito IMO Floyd would have to fight but I don't know how long that would last.

But to answer the question, I'd respect Floyd the second he came down the aisle win or lose.

At this stage I don't think Floyd would beat Margarito. Too much Pressure,Size,Chin,Stamina for the lil guy.
Floyd would need a tune up for this fight. It would be rough but Floyd has so many advantages. His footspeed/footwork is much better then anyone Margarito has faced including Cotto. His hands are much faster, his stamina is better. The size of Margarito and chin will not matter as Floyd will just pop shot him and stay in the center of the ring. The danger will be when he takes brief rests to sit back and roll as he has done with lighter fighters. However, he did do it vs Dlh at 154 so he cant be that weak.

Well the point is to win.. and I could not criticise him for Winning..
I could complain that he is Boring.. But that would be Hypocritical since I support Wlad Klitschko most of the time..

It would be interesting to see if he could keep Margarito off him all night long..

I think the whole deal with a fight between those two is to see if Floyd could take the constant pressure of Margrito by doing what he does best...using his footwork, picking his punches and being as slippery as a lubed up fish/*****.

The challenge would be to see if Margrito could catch and hit Floyd, and whether Floyd could keep Margrito off of him for every 3 minutes of 12 rounds.
